Philippe Nassar has more than 28 years of experience in the power and energy sectors. He started his career as a field engineer in the construction of power plants, and then held during a six year period several positions in site management. Following his MBA, he worked for two years in a prime consulting firm in Paris within the energy practice during the deregulation period of the European electricity market.

Philippe’s knowledge in all power plant aspects stems from the positions he held over the last fifteen years. He was a project manager on various EPC power plant projects in the Middle East and Africa, covering all project phases from concept and feasibility, to detailed design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. In his career, Philippe covered several types of plants such as combined cycle power plants (Deir Amar, 450 MW, Lebanon), reciprocating HFO (Al Hurriya PP1, 64MW, Iraq), and landfill gas power plants (Neemeh 7 MW, Lebanon). In 2015 Philippe joined and co-founded PDP Energy.
